It’s not the biggest collection in the world, and the rarest game he has tops out at around $600, a far cry from the thousands of dollars some rare games are reported to be worth.
So what makes his collection so special? It’s all about the aesthetics, dude. Norton’s 5,200-game collection is meticulously alphabetized and displayed so everyone can enjoy it in all its spectacular glory. “I suppose I’d have to consider myself a Nintendo fanboy. I grew up in the 1980s. Nintendo and Mario was everywhere, there was no escaping it,” Norton recalled. “From Sunday morning cartoons, cereal, underwear, bed sheets and lunch boxes.
Nintendo makes fantastic games and has enduring franchises. It is without a doubt my favorite company.” “I’ve acquired a ton of games, but I don’t feel like I’ve spent a ton. Most people don’t realize that many of these classic games can be found for $1 - $4 each,” he dished. “It’s all about finding the right deal at the right time. Hunting out your local area. Finding extras games for cheap and trading online.
To me collecting has become a fun game in and of itself.” “I’d say I have most of the rare games for most systems,” he went on to say. “To be honest it may be easier to mention the hard-to-find games I don’t have.
For the NES I own a complete licensed set, except for the very hard-to-find Stadium Events. My Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64 and Gamecube sets are complete as well, except for the two mail-order Super Nintendo competition carts. I also own a complete set for Virtual Boy, Sega Game Gear and Sega 32x. I’m working on finishing up my Sega Master System, Game Boy and Game Boy Color sets.” X

I got the chills from this, I tip my hat to you good sir
All this shit, and he plays it on a Toshiba TV from 1998
Gotta love Zakk
Do you know what the whole point of the show is…… NOTHING IS PERFECT MOTHERFUCKERS!!!! LIFE ISNT PERFECT!!!!! So if Barney and Robin did end up together yeah that would be nice but it would NOT be just to the show! The same as if Tracey didn’t die!!!! Barney and Robin tried their best and did it…
I completely agree actually. I’ve always loved Ted&Robin way more then I ever did Barney&Robin. I always wanted to believe they’d find a way back to each other but presumed they wouldn’t because of the riot it would cause. I have proper respect for Craig and Carter because as you say they knew the hate they were going to get and then stuck to their original plan anyway. I really hope the alternate ending isnt that Barney&Robin lived happily ever after, I hope it’s just that the final shot is Ted saying ’ and thats how I met your mother.’ not that I will ever watch it cos the actual ending is the one that was televised and thats all that matters to me.
Yesss! THANK YOU! I actually really liked both Ted & Robin and Barney & Robin! I agree about the alternate ending! I almost wish they wouldn’t have done the alternate! Although I will probably watch it anyway I will always consider the one that aired the ending!

Simultaneously the worst and best movie ever made
Actually one of my teachers watched every single version of Romeo and Juliet with the original text in front of him to prove that this was the worst version, but to his great dismay its the most accurate film adaptation of it, with the lines closest to the original text and most similar stage direction and relayed emotions.
He proceeded to show it to us in class.
Sometimes I think to myself, “do I really want to buy another chocolate bar?”
And then I remember that there is a super volcano under Yellowstone that is 40,000 years overdue and when it erupts it could potentially cover most of north America in ash and create a volcanic winter that kills half the worlds population
And I’m like, fuck yeah I want that chocolate bar
This is one of the most inspiring posts i’ve ever seen
